The Peer Gynt Gallery

The museum exhibits a collection of wood carvings by the renowned local artist Oddvin Parr. His unique and inimitable carvings feature scenes from the play "Peer Gynt" written by Henrik Ibsen and based on legend. Since his teens Parr has dedicated his life to telling the story of Peer Gynt in wood. The result is enchanting and well worth a visit.
