Skageflå

As an excellent example of the daring cultivation of a difficult landscape, visit the abandoned hill farm of Skageflå. Set on a ledge 250 meters above the water, the farm offers breathtaking views over the Geiranger Fjord, the waterfall the Seven Sisters and the opposite hill farms. The outhouse on Skageflå is a unique structure integrated into the stone wall. Decked by stone roof tiles the house has stayed clear of several devastating avalanches. The farm is a 25 minutes' walk from the fjord.
