Norway in a Nutshell

Travelling by train, boat and bus, Norway in a nutshell® takes you to the breathtaking fjords of Norway. Highlights include:

• The Bergen Railway - a unique experience on Northern Europe's highest-altitude railway line. Voted one of the twenty best railway experiences in the world!
• The Flåm Railway - a highlight of the tour. One of the world's steepest railway lines takes you from the mountain station at Myrdal down to Flåm station by the Aurlandsfjord. Stunning scenery and twisting tunnels that spiral in and out of the mountains tell tales of the most daring and skilful engineering in Norwegian railway history.
• The fjords by boat - continuing by boat, next stop is the Aurlandsfjord and the Nærøyfjord. The Nærøyfjord is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List, surrounded by mountains up to 1,800 meters tall.
