Catch a bird's eye view of Bergen

The Fløibanen funicular takes you from the city centre of Bergen to the top of mount Fløyen in minutes. The lower station is located near the fish market and the Bryggen. Get on the cable cars and watch a spectacular view unravel as you ascend the mountain.

From the top of Mount Fløyen you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city and its surrounding fjords. Bring your camera, and if you feel like it, do like the locals - go for a hike at your own pace on the top plateau.

The funicular operates every day of the year, from early in the morning until midnight in the summer and 11pm in the autumn, winter and spring.
