Culture and entertainment

For entertainment, you can experience a whole host of concerts and performances in both Haugesund and the surrounding district throughout the year. During the summer months there are festivals and other large arrangements catering for young and old alike. These include: the Viking festival, the Herring Jazz Festival, the Blues Festival, the Amanda Film Festival, the rock festival, the boat festival, the Night of Culture, the Village Days Festival, fairs, sports events, and regattas.
